1. University Overview:
Founded in 2005 by Georgian and American partners, Georgian American University (GAU) is a private institution in Tbilisi recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and India’s National Medical Commission (NMC). GAU’s Medical School offers a flexible 6-year MD program (360 ECTS) in English with integrated Georgian language training, attracting students from over 25 countries. 2. Course Duration
The MD program spans six academic years (12 semesters; 360 ECTS)
• Years 1–2 (Pre-clinical): Foundations in Anatomy, Histology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Medical Genetics, Georgian language.
• Year 3 (Para-clinical): Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Clinical Methods & OSCE training.
• Years 4–5 (Clinical): Rotations in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Community Medicine at GAU’s university hospital and affiliated clinics.
• Year 6 (Internship): 48-week supervised clinical clerkships and State Final Examination (OSCE & viva).

- Apostilled & translated 10th & 12th grade mark sheets (PCB)

- Police clearance certificate
- 8–10 passport-sized photographs
