GAU’s Medical School offers a flexible 6-year MD program (360 ECTS) in English with integrated Georgian language training, attracting students from over 25 countries. 2. Course Duration

The MD program spans six academic years (12 semesters; 360 ECTS) • Years 1–2 (Pre-clinical): Foundations in Anatomy, Histology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Medical Genetics, Georgian language. • Year 3 (Para-clinical): Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Clinical Methods & OSCE training. • Years 4–5 (Clinical): Rotations in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Community Medicine at GAU’s university hospital and affiliated clinics. • Year 6 (Internship): 48-week supervised clinical clerkships and State Final Examination (OSCE & viva).
