1. University Overview:

Teaching University Geomedi, established in 1998 in Tbilisi, Georgia, is a private medical institution recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO), FAIMER, ECFMG, WFME, and accredited by India’s National Medical Commission (NMC). The university enrolls over 3,000 students across faculties including Medicine, Dentistry, and Healthcare Economics, and maintains partnerships with more than 40 universities globally for research and exchange programs.

2. Course Duration

The MBBS (MD) program spans six years, comprising:
- Years 1–2 (Semesters 1–4): Pre-clinical sciences (Anatomy, Histology, Physiology, Biochemistry) + Georgian language and Clinical Skills I
- Year 3 (Semesters 5–6): Para-clinical subjects (Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Clinical Methods & OSCE)
- Years 4–5 (Semesters 7–10): Clinical rotations in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Community Medicine at the 500-bed University Hospital and affiliated clinics
- Year 6 (Semesters 11–12): 48-week supervised internship followed by the State Final Examination (OSCE & viva)
Total credits: 360 ECTS (330 mandatory + 30 elective).

  • NEET-UG scorecard (for Indian students) or affidavit if NEET-exempt

6. Eligibility Criteria:
  • Minimum age: 17 years by December 31 of admission year
  • Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (40% for reserved categories)
