1. University Overview:

Founded in 1995 in Tbilisi, Georgia, Alte University is a private institution recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and accredited by India’s National Medical Commission (NMC). Through its International School of Medicine, Alte offers a six-year MBBS (MD) program taught entirely in English with integrated Georgian language modules for clinical practice.

2. Course Duration

The MD program spans six years: - Years 1–2: Pre-clinical sciences (Anatomy, Histology, Physiology, Biochemistry) + Georgian language - Year 3: Para-clinical subjects (Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology) - Years 4–5: Clinical rotations (Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics) at the 500-bed University Hospital and partner clinics - Year 6: 48-week supervised internship and State Final Examination (OSCE & Viva) Medium of instruction: English, with Georgian taught concurrently.
